Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center Return Policies
In case it became necessary to return an item, Solleys will exchange it or give you a refund for the full amount of the merchandise — whichever you prefer, excluding any shipping charges, within a period of 14 days. All returned or exchanged items must be in their original box and include packing material, manuals and all accessories.
All special order returns will be assessed a 25% restocking fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable. We do not accept merchandise for return with completed warranty cards, damaged or missing collateral material. Please do not throw away any of the packaging materials such as boxes, instructions, inserts, bags, etc until you are completely sure you want to keep the equipment.
Keep your Invoice with your important records.
Damaged Shipments
All of our shipments are 100% insured. You are responsible to inspect the product thoroughly before accepting and signing for your merchandise; after you sign for the merchandise you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper. It is important that you do not assume that your product is not damaged just because the box and packaging is intact. It is your responsibility to check for both internal and external damage before you accept delivery. If you notice your product is damaged, refuse the package and note the damage on the bill of lading. Next, call Solleys immediately at 248-625-2417 and we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. After you sign for the package you are responsible for damages, so make sure that you inspect all packages before you sign for them. If your item was shipped via UPS, call UPS at 800-pick-ups with your tracking number to report a damaged item.
Defective Merchandise
Most products that we carry include a full warranty of at least one year. If you get an item that is defective upon delivery that is not due to shipping damages, please contact us at 248-625-2417 by the next business day.
Product Does Not Meet Your Needs
Please pay close attention to all product specifications, dimensions and colors. Make sure you measure the product area before you order. We are always willing to assist you with specific directions on how to measure if needed. It is important that you understand which product meets your needs and is why our sales staff is well trained and are able to guide you through your purchase. If your merchandise does not meet your needs please call us immediately at 248-625-2417 within 3 business days of receipt. Please remember that shipping and handling charges are not refundable and all returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee. All special orders and customized products are non-refundable. Returned products must be in brand new condition with all packaging, product literature, and blank warranty cards enclosed in the exact condition you received them. Any product that has been installed or an attempt has been made to install it cannot be returned.
Return Notes and Policies
- We do not accept any returns unless you have a RMA number from customer service.
- You must contact us by next business day (usually 24 to 48 hours) of receiving your merchandise if your product is damaged. 3 business days of receiving if the product does not suit your needs (excludes special order items).
- After you accept your merchandise you are responsible for all damage claims.
- Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center reserves the right to refuse all returns.
- All returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
- Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center will not accept any returns that are not in brand new re-sellable condition packed in the manufacturers box complete with all packing material, product literature, and blank warranty cards.
- Shipping and Handling charges are not refundable.
- Make sure you read all specifications closely and call us with any questions or concerns before you place your order.
Disclaimer
Customer agrees to the terms published when they place a completed order with our company. Customer authorizes their credit card company to abide by these terms.
Can I cancel my order?
If you cancel your item at least 48 hours before the item ships you will not be charged. If you cancel the item after it has shipped the order is subject to a 25% restocking fee and the full shipping charge. Please note that all special orders are non-refundable and non-cancelable regardless if it shipped or not.
To Begin the return process, please call 248-625-2417. All returns must have a RMA Number. If you live within the Oakland County area, you may return the item directly to the store once a RMA has been issued. Call us at 248-625-2417 for directions.
*Merchandise must meet all the guidelines stated above. Special orders are not eligible for return.
Fireplace Delivery
Your stoves and fireplaces are shipped by freight truck. Sometimes smaller items are shipped by UPS. Products are priced shipped directly to your house or job site but there are some areas that have limitations on truck delivery (18 wheelers) and in these areas you would have to pay the additional fee or pick it up at the terminal. These areas are very rare. It is the customer's responsibility for unloading the truck. This usually means using planks to slide products down, and a minimum of two people. Sometimes customers will have their orders delivered to a place of business where a Hi-Lo is available
Appliance Delivery
Important - Please read
Accepting your delivery - how to protect yourself. Before you sign for your appliances and fireplaces!
Every package is insured to guarantee you receive your purchase in perfect condition. It is essential you look over all new deliveries prior to signing for the merchandise. Any inconsistencies, irregularities, or damage must be noted in writing on the bill of lading. After you sign for the merchandise you are responsible for filing all claims with the shipper.

To help make your delivery go as smoothly as possible, we offer these helpful tips:
1. Make sure there is someone at your home to receive the item.
Many of our delivery agents will give you a delivery window. There will be a re-delivery fee if no one is home at the time of delivery. An adult, at least 18 years of age, must be home to sign for the item. Delivery address can not be changed in-route. We can not deliver to PO Boxes.
2. Make a clear, level and unobstructed path to where you want your appliance delivered.
Snow, ice or excessive mud may prohibit delivery. In the rare instance your house is not accessible by a delivery truck (and customer pick-up cannot be arranged) you will be billed on your credit card for the delivery charges back to Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center, plus a 25% restocking fee.
3. Measure Carefully!
When ordering larger than normal items, please make sure they will fit through all openings. Be sure to take into account how much space your doors take from the opening. It is your responsibility to ensure the appliance can be delivered to the place you have chosen. Additional charges may apply for non-compliance.
4. Some appliances need additional supplies for installation.
Refrigerators:
Refrigerators that have an automatic ice and water dispenser or an icemaker will need to have the water line hooked up by another party after delivery. Icemakers ordered separately will also need to be installed. Make sure there is enough space for the door to open fully.
Gas Ranges and Dryers:
These appliances are not shipped with any connecting gas lines. These lines can be purchased at most hardware store. We recommend you have a qualified installer connect the gas line for safety reasons.
Electric Ranges and Dryers:
These appliances are not shipped with connecting electric cords as there are several different wall socket configurations. We recommend you examine your current wall socket, make note of the configuration, and purchase the cord at your local hardware store. Many of our customers can install the cord themselves. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, you can arrange for installation from our service department for a nominal fee (if you are in Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center’s delivery area).
Washing Machines:
Water hoses, typically four feet in length, are not always included with your washer. If you need hoses or longer hoses you can usually purchase them from your local hardware store. Customers can install the hoses themselves. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, you can arrange for installation for a nominal fee (if you are in Solleys Appliance & Fireplace Center’s dellivery area).
Dishwashers:
We recommend you have a professional local installer hook up your dishwasher for a nominal fee. If you are purchasing a “tall tub” dishwasher, please make sure you have the appropriate under counter height available. We suggest you call us for more information, especially if you have redone your floor where the dishwasher is going to be installed.

Delivery Schedule:
Do to strong manufacture availability of all the appliances we carry, we do not stock these items. The majority of our vendors will deliver to us in three to five days. This allows us to maintain low overhead and operational costs to offer you the best price and service possible. On rare occurrences, items may be backordered or delayed, and we will immediately notify you and offer you the opportunity to cancel your order at no charge.
If we are out of stock on an item we will notify you immediately. You may then, cancel the order at no charge or wait for the item to come in. It is always your choice.
The only exception to this rule is special orders. Any item considered special order is non-refundable and may not be cancelled. These items generally take a little longer for delivery. We will keep you informed about your order.

All products usually ship and are delivered in 1 to 4 weeks (over 90% arrive in three weeks or less) except for the following:
1. Remote locations may take an additional week to deliver.
2. Backordered items are subject to manufacture availability.
3. Any item with special trim or colors besides white, black, bisque or stainless steel may take longer and are considered special order items and are non-refundable and are not cancelable.
4. Larger items and larger orders take the longest to deliver. These items can be expedited but that may prohibit any inside deliver option and additional charges may apply.
If at any time your product will take longer than stated, you may cancel your order at no charge before the item is shipped. (Except special orders)
